Quick Yogurt Bread

5ml (1 level tsp) Baking Powder

1.25ml (1/4 level tsp) bicarbonate of soda

450g (1lb) Wholemeal Organic Flour

5ml (1 level tsp) Salt

15ml (1 level tbsp) Sugar

400g (10oz) Court Lodge Organic Pouring Yogurt

 

Sift the flour, baking powder, bicarb, salt and sugar into bowl, stir in yogurt and bind to a smooth, soft dough, adding a little water if necessary. Shape into a loaf and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 190 degrees C (375 F), gas mark 5, for about 40 minutes or till the base sounds hollow when tapped.
