Court Lodge Farm is home to the Fen Raft Spider which is a large carnivorous spider that lives in the freshwater ditches of Pevensey Marsh. It has only been identified in two other sites within the UK. Due to its extreme rarity it is listed as endangered.

 
The Barn Owl is a common sight during the summer on Court Lodge Farm. Here you can see it bringing food back to its young in our nest box.
   
The Marsh Harrier can often be seen in early summer over the recently constructed reed bed. This bird is very uncommon in the UK.
